Other Attractions
Venturing northeast along the coast, visit the picturesque coastal towns of Camden and Rockport and spend some time at Rockland's Farnsworth Museum, whose fine collection of Maine art includes three generations of Wyeths.
"...I'm a computer buff; took so many pictures, Bernice, that I'm sending you a slide show..."
Also within an easy drive, but to the south, are such attractions as the Bowdoin College Museums and the Maine State Music Theater in Brunswick, the Maine Maritime Museum and Chocolate Church in Bath, and Freeport with its many outlet shops and L.L. Bean. You may want to hike a nearby nature trail or spend some time at Popham Beach or Reid State Park, two of Maine's finest beaches.
